Patience Pays Off

Check out this video of our buddy Mike G from this year’s opening canada goose hunt.  A few weeks ago I posted an article talking about that hunt and showing our set-up.   This video was recorded by a stationary camera set up between me and Mike.  We were both laid out in the same decoy spread, under burlap.  The video really gives you a sense of the excitement of goose hunting.  You lie there for a small eternity, tensed and still, waiting and hoping the geese will make a pass at your spread as their calls echo around you.  Some of these geese went into the goose bolognese recipe we posted in our recipes section. Makes me excited for the coming winter goose season!
