Urbanoutdoorsman podcast in the works

So we’re working on the urbanoutdoorsman podcast!

Wow, that sounded like I was announcing a pregnancy.  In any event, this effort, which is taking up most of our spare time, is one of the reasons this site hasn’t seen much activity of late.

Keep an eye out for the podcast in the next month or two. We’re hoping that we can create interesting and Canadian-focused content for outdoorspeople – a perspective largely swamped by media flowing up from south of the border. But that doesn’t mean you have to be a Canadian to listen – the vast majority of our material will be relevant wherever a listener may live.

We’re especially committed to including content for the beginner.  I recall, when I first started out, searching around (often in vain) for podcasts that were willing to discuss very basic concepts. We’ll also work on some non-outdoors material on occasion, if we think it’s interesting.

While we’re inventing this thing on the fly, we have some exciting guests and cool material lined up.  Hopefully you’ll give it a listen and let us know what you think (once it’s ready of course).
